This pure Merlot wine is aged for a year in new barrels made of French oak, after its growth has been managed to give full voice to the type of grape and the terroir.
Its colour is both deep and clear, with a rich and complex bouquet that suggests toastiness and has the aroma of dark fruits..
The taste is smooth, long and powerful, with supple tannins. The wine is not short of character and you could easily keep it for a number of years, or equally enjoy it now, after decanting, with roast beef or a venison stew.
